Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami. She
is the daughter of Jose Luis "El Puma" Rodriguez the famous
Venezuelan actor and singer, and Carolina Perez (a Cuban model). She has two
half-sisters. She attended the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami.
Rodriguez was an actor from a young age. She was a student at Lee Strasberg
Theatre and Film Institute and began her own acting classes. Her career was
quickly successful, and she was offered roles in Spanish language series like
Prisionera (2004) and Dame Chocolate (2007). She also was a part of the hit TV
series "Entourage" (2004). Film projects include Man on a Ledge
(2012) and What to Expect when You Expect (2012). Daughter of Jose Luis 'El
Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister to Liliana Rodrigo as well as Lilibeth Moillo. On
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 9, episode of 2013), she
mentioned her name as Genesis which is a reference to the British rock band
Genesis. She is is Cuban and Venezuelan ancestral ancestry. It's amazing to
live near the ocean. If this acting thing doesn't work I'd rather put up my
resume for NBA.com. I'm a huge basketball fan . . . I'll talk all sorts of
trash. I feel like I'm representing a new generation of Latinos--bilingual,
bicultural people. I'm aware of the fact that I can't eat whatever I like or do
what I want. It's a struggle to fight to achieve it. Pilates and my parents'
great genes are to be credited with. Making fun of yourself and then putting it
up on the Internet is one of the most enjoyable bonding experiences you'll ever
have. I am a fan of people who take risks. I admire people who are willing to
take risks in the ring. Charlize Thon is my favorite. I like her style. She's
elegant and cool too. I love Zoe Saldana.
