Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo has been nominated for the
Golden Globe as a stage actress, television and film actor. She was born in
Dallas and was raised in New Jersey. In 2000, she was cast in a breakout role
in Coyote Ugly. Since then she has been featured in films such as Christopher
Nolan's "The Prestige" with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale,
"Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton and "First Snow"
which starred Guy Pearce, "Cheaper by the Dozen" films with Steve
Martin, "Imagine Me &"Imagine Me & You" with Lena
Heady and Matthew Goode and the crime drama "10th & Wolf"
with an ensemble cast including James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. In Rian
Johnson's sci fi action film "Looper," she starred alongside Bruce
Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Perabo was Annie Walker's TV part in five
seasons on the spy drama on USA Network "Covert Affairs." After that,
Perabo played as Annie Walker on USA Network's spy show "Covert
Affairs." "And will be next seen on Netflix in "Turn Up Charlie"
co-starring Idris Elba. She also made her Broadway debut in Neil LaBute's
controversial play "Reasons to be Pretty", which was nominated for
the Tony Award for the Best Play. Beyond her stage and screen, Perabo is also
an activist. Perabo is a Voice for the International Rescue Committee and is a
spokesperson for the International Rescue Committee, bringing awareness to the
refugee crisis in the world and supporting those suffering from religious
persecution as well as political oppression and conflict. Piper lives in Los
Angeles and New York City. She graduated from Toms River High School North in
1994. She was in all school musicals. Her senior year she played Katie in
"Meet Me In St. Louis;" junior year, Cousin Fan in "Mame;"
sophomore year, Lady Brighton in "Me and My Girl,"" and , in her
freshman year, a dancer on "How to Succeed in Business Without Really
Trying." She was high school president of National Honor Society, and also
the editor of Polaris, the school's literary journal. In high school she was
part of the Marinerettes as a dancer for the field show during football games.
