Sofia Black/D'Elia is an American actress. Her roles as Tea Marvelli and Sage Spence in Gossip Girls, and Andrea Cornish (The Night Of) are some of her most well-known. Black-D’Elia played Sabrina, the FOX comedy The Mick, from 2017 to 2018. Black-D’Elia first appeared on the soap Opera All My Children in the role of Bailey when she was seventeen. In 2010, she was given the role Tea on MTV's version of the British hit teen drama . She played an openly transgender teenager. Black-D'Elia portrayed Sage Spence starting in the fall of 2012. She also played Jessie in Project Almanac, a Michael Bay-produced thriller about time travel. It was released January 2015. She appeared in HBO's The Evening Of in 2016. She played Sabrina Pemberton in The Mick. Black-D'Elia was a Clifton native and a graduate of Clifton High School. Eleanor is her mother and works in printing. Anthony V. D'Elia (her father) is a Judge of New Jersey's Superior Court. Her father is Italian and her mother is Jewish. She started acting when she was 5 years old.
