Simone Biles Childhood, Career and Early Life

Simone Biles was a gymnastics prodigy at a very young age. After dominating junior elite, Biles claimed her first U.S. all-around title in 2013 and won her second all-around world title in the year 2015. She took home a record-breaking third consecutive all-around championship in the year 2015. The U.S. Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team, nicknamed "The Final Five", took home the 2016 Summer Games. Biles also claimed gold in vault, all-around individual and balance beam. Biles set a new record in 2019, when she won her sixth U.S. all around title. Biles also set a new record when she took home her 25th World Championship gold.

Simone is the third of four siblings, the other are Ashley, Tevin, and Adria. Adria Biles is also an athlete in gymnastics. Simone was born by her grandfather Ron Biles (Shanon’s father) and his wife Nellie Cayetano Biles. Ron is an ex-air traffic controller. Nellie is an RN and the former co-owner of a nursing chain of homes across the USA.

At the 2013 National Championships, she won the title of champion all-round ahead of Kyla Ross, who was the previous gold medalist. She also took silver medals in the four events. She was able to secure a place in the Senior National Team and the World Championship Team.
